dc.description.abstractAnualmente, 1.3 millones de personas mueren debido a siniestros viales (SV) y en Bogotá ocurren 1-2 muertes/diarias por SV. Se han identificado factores individuales asociados (F_asoc) a la muerte en SV, pero se desconocen los F_asoc con muertos/heridos en la escena de un SV. El objetivo del presente proyecto busca identificar F_asoc con la gravedad de los SV en Bogotá durante el periodo 2016-2022, para proponer un modelo de priorización preventivospa
dc.description.abstractAnnually, 1.3 million people die due to road traffic accidents (RTAs), and in Bogotá, 1-2 deaths occur daily due to RTAs. Individual factors associated (F_assoc) with RTA fatalities have been identified, but factors associated with deaths/injuries at the accident scene remain unclear. The objective of this study seeks to identify F_assoc with the severity of RTAs in Bogotá between 2016 and 2022 in order to propose a preventive prioritization model.eng

dc.description.methodsMetodología de investigación por diseño de casos y controles aleatorios utilizando como unidad de análisis los SV, presentes en la base de datos (abierta) de SV georreferenciados de Bogotá. La distribución de factores en casos y controles se comparó con la prueba Z [aprox. Binomial; cola_derecha]; con técnicas de Machine-Learning (unsupervised), se identificaron horas de alto riesgo (HAR) para SV con heridos/muertos; con un modelo de regresión logística se estimó el riesgo ajustado[aOR_IC95%] de SV con muertos/heridos (casos) según variables del entorno[var_ent], periódicas[var_per] y clase del SV. Finalmente, se determinó la Fracción Atribuible en Expuestos [FAExp%_IC95%] para proponer un modelo de priorización preventivo de SV con muertos/heridos.
