La Organización Mundial de la Salud, en 2016, destacó la importancia del cuidado en salud, subrayando la necesidad de ofrecer trato digno durante el período gestacional. Es crucial identificar las necesidades individuales de cada gestante que acude a consulta, para mejorar la calidad de la atención, brindar un trato humanizado. Aunque existen protocolos y políticas orientados a garantizar atención adecuada, se han observado prácticas que contradicen estas directrices. El proyecto buscaba conocer la percepción de las madres, entre 18 y 28 años, de la atención recibida durante la gestación y posparto en el Centro Proteger Camilo Torres en Bogotá.

2016, the World Health Organization (WHO) emphasized the importance of providing the highest level of healthcare, highlighting the need to offer dignified treatment during the gestational and childbirth periods. It is crucial to identify the individual needs of each pregnant woman attending consultations to improve the quality of care and provide treatment that meets their expectations. Despite the existence of various protocols and policies aimed at ensuring appropriate care, practices that contradict these guidelines have been observed. In this context, the present research project aims to understand the perception of mothers, aged 18 to 28 years, regarding the care received during prenatal care, labor, and the postpartum period at the Centro Proteger Camilo Torres, located in the city of Bogotá.
